Mohican Trail 100
He's done it - Mike has just finished the Mohican Trail 100, a grueling 100-mile run in Loudonville (Ohio).

THE NEXT EVENT

The Race4innocence Continues!

Running across the Sahara desert, biking across Death Valley, running 100 miles… so what’s next?

Swimming, of course. This summer Mike will swim 22 kilometers across the Strait of Gibraltar, from Morocco to Spain.

For Mike, it's just another part of his Race4Innocence to raise awareness of the problems of child pornography on the internet, and to raise enough funds to fight this evil by shutting down 21,280 websites and saving 21,280 children.

THE RACE

To raise awareness and funds for the fight to protect our children race4innocnece participants Mike DeNoma and Tan Ying Hsien are testing their limits.

1) Mike's Race4Innocence

Mike will put his limits to test by targeting to complete 1228 km from October 2005 to October 2006. He will face three gruelling challenges:

The Greatest Race on Earth

This race is four marathons rolled into one epic contest. It started with the Highest Race in the dizzying altitudes of Nairobi on 23rd October 2005, followed by the Island Race on 4th December 2005 in bustling Singapore and the Historic Race in stunning Mumbai, on January 15th 2006 and ended in downtown Hong Kong, for the Harbor Race on 12th February 2006. Marathon Des Sables

This is a foot race, over a distance of about 230 km, in southern Morocco across the burning sands of the Sahara Desert. Each participant must carry his/her own backpack containing food, sleeping gear and other material. It is one of the hardest runs in the world. This year’s Marathon Des Sables takes place between 10-16th April 2006. Visit website

Furnace 508

From one desert to another, this a 508-mile bike race has 35,000 feet of total elevation gain that traverses Death Valley, the hottest place in the world. The 508 is scheduled for 7-8th October 2006. Visit website

2) Ying's Race4Innocence

Ying is doing six marathons in six months starting with the Standard Chartered Ironman Korea in Jeju on 27th August 2006, The Sydney Marathon on 17th September 2006, and the four marathons of The Greatest Race on Earth ending in Hong Kong on 4th March 2007.

Race4innocence is raising money for the missing and exploited children. For every kilometer covered, we are hoping to save up to ten children from the perils of child pornography.
